With its four floors and 25 rooms, the Bed-Stuy House is our largest Outpost Club location so far. We even have a spacious backyard! The house is a newly renovated space with HVAC units, updated appliances and hardwood floors. This house is equipped with 17 bedrooms, six kitchens and six living rooms. All of the common areas are massive in comparison to your average New York City apartment.

Outpost Club is more than just a place to live and work. We’ve created a coliving community that offers both general and professional networking, giving you the opportunity to build relationships with people from all over the world with a variety of backgrounds and expertises. In addition to designing our spaces to make living together a breeze, we offer multiple events a month to help you get to know the entire Outpost Club community, whether at a movie night or while kayaking on the East River.

The basement space is equipped with everything you need … to work! This room comfortably holds up to 10 people working simultaneously. There's a lot of desk space to make sure your work time is productive. Additionally, there are many common spaces throughout the house that our members use to work. The living room is located in the basement of the Bed-Stuy House. The living room has three large couches, a ping pong table and a 55-inch TV (with Netflix!); this is where we host movie nights, game nights and chill hangouts. The space is equipped with everything you need to relax. Out Bed-Stuy House even has a fitness area! This is equipped with the basics you need to work out, giving you the opportunity to skip a gym membership. We also host yoga classes and other fitness activities in the area. There are six kitchens throughout the house. On each floor (all members have access to every floor) the kitchen and dining room are the first rooms you enter. These spaces are used for potluck dinners, solo meals and chats in the evening over a glass of wine. We even have a backyard! It has tables and chairs throughout spring, summer and autumn. The space holds many parties, get-togethers, barbecues and celebrations.

Bedford–Stuyvesant has the largest collection of intact and largely untouched Victorian architecture in the country, with roughly 8,800 buildings built before 1900. The house is located on the north side of the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood in Brooklyn, and a seven-minute walk to the Myrtle Ave. stop on the J, M and Z trains, and a 10-minute walk to the Myrtle-Willoughby Aves. stop on the G train. The location is near coffee shops, pizza joints and bars.

This place offers a unique and vibrant living experience. The local events and artsy atmosphere bring so much character to daily life. Nestled in a part of Brooklyn known for its stunning historic architecture, the house is conveniently close to multiple subway lines, making getting around the city simple. There’s no shortage of nearby spots to explore, from cozy coffee shops to laid-back bars and pizza joints. It’s a lively and charming area that offers a bit of everything.

Bed-Stuy House: The Bed-Stuy House is a dream come true for anyone who appreciates historical charm and a green environment. The Victorian-era features of the building and the lush surroundings make it a beautiful place to live. The neighborhood is rich in history and character, and the apartment itself is cozy and inviting. The management team is responsive and efficient, making sure any issues are addressed quickly. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to live.

I lived in outpost the cost of sharing a room was $800 per month, it was considerably cheaper than dormitory options. During my time there, I formed strong friendships. Co-living also served as a platform for connecting with potential roommates for future apartment searches. Overall, it was a savvy financial choice for me.
