Welcome to Nine, a coliving and coworking community on the beautiful island Tenerife, Spain. In the historic centre of La Orotava, a beautiful old Canarian house is transformed into a place where digital nomads live, work and meet. With its views over the sea and the volcano El Teide, its historical characteristics and location right in the middle of town, Nine offers digital nomads a one of a kind experience.

Nine coliving offers rooms for every digital nomad. Starting with the shared dorm for 4 persons, single rooms and double rooms that can be rented by one or two persons. All rooms have a shared bathroom that is cleaned every day. And because we like to focus on coliving for longer stays, weekly and monthly discounts apply. Breakfast is included.

The coworking space is light and open and has 14 seatings with the best views. Overlooking the historical town, the mountains above it and the ocean below makes this a great space to focus. There are normal desks with good office chairs, standing desks and lounge chairs. The conference room can be used for private meetings or calls and the big living room gives a more informal place to work. The roof, the garden and the patio are also popular places to work.

Building a community is important to us. That’s why at Nine the true meaning of coliving and coworking comes alive. With daily yoga on the roof and a free Sunday BBQ we like to shape a community where everyone feels included. Every digital nomad that stays at Nine, brings something different to the table. That is how family dinners, capoeira workshops, new companies and movie nights happen.

Tenerife has so much to offer that you literally won't have time to work. It is an island full of nature, culture and activities. One of the most important reason for people to come here, is because of the year round mild weather. But besides an island with great weather, Tenerife is an island with many micro climates, beautiful nature, historical town and a true island feeling. More and more people discover that Tenerife is not just a sunny holiday destination.

Located in the fertile Orotava Valley uphill from Puerto de la Cruz, La Orotava was formally established in 1504 by the Spanish following their conquest of Tenerife. As the area was blessed with a mild climate, many Spanish elite chose to settle here; most of the city's historic buildings from this early period have been preserved and now now fall under landmark protection. Given that Teide National Park extends right up to the edge of the city, Orotava is a good starting point for a number of hikes of varying length and difficulty, a few of which can be accessed by public bus.
